Everything was lovely, the wifi was reliable. I loved the well heated room and 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed. English bar was pleasant! Well-maintained garden outside.

The hotel was centrally located, handy base for a wedding celebration in Flaxton. Room was normal double and the bed was amazing. The breakfast was included and had variety of meals. We did n't have time and did n't use the plunge swimming pool although it looked nice. Spent here 1 brilliant day and would definitely return.

Spotless, QUIET CENTRAL location, panoramic view of cathedral, good breakfast. The staff did all they can for a special stay. The pool was excellent and the garden - small. There was a private beach near the place. I visited beer bar and tried welcome drinks.

I liked the riverside location plus the staff were eager to help. Stayed in wonderfully appointed queen room with lovely furnishings, free WiFi, for instance. The breakfast was included and consisted of slices of fresh bread, meats, bakery, fresh fruit and boiled eggs. Hotel was tidy, being adjacent to the beach.

Liked our stay, we would like to come again. The host upon arrival was friendly! The downtown is within 15 minutes' walk. Also, it was just 1 km from lawrence.

the hotel is great and has a lovely design. we appreciated comfy beds in our room. good base for exploring flaxton.

The English breakfast was nice, plenty of options. Good value and useful staff. We had a car, so 5 minutes drive to castle howard. We can recommend it as we enjoyed this hotel.
